Trump announcing a “cease fire” that falls apart in less than 12 hours is the most predictable outcome imaginable.
This is what happens when you treat negotiation like branding instead of reality. Big announcement. Big tone. Big “look at me” moment. And then nothing holds.
Because there was nothing behind it.
This Isn’t Negotiation
Negotiation requires discipline, consistency, and actual understanding of the situation.
What you get instead is impulse, ego, and whatever sounds strong in the moment. That’s not leadership. That’s a guy freelancing global consequences like it’s a fucking press release.
The Pattern Is the Point
Announce something dramatic. Take credit immediately. Blame everyone else when it collapses. Over and over again.
And somehow people are still surprised when it doesn’t work.
Let’s Be Honest
If your “cease fire” can’t survive half a day, it was never real.
It was noise. It was optics. It was another attempt to look like the guy in control without doing any of the work required to actually be that guy.
Bottom Line
You don’t measure leadership by what someone announces. You measure it by what actually holds.
And this? Didn’t hold for shit.
